Due to the successful completion of our previous work at this centre we were awarded a further refurbishment contract by SLM and the Havering Borough Council. The scheme had complex logistical issues due to the requirement to convert the cafe area (the main access through to the public) into a dance studio & spin studio. We agreed phasing & logistic drawings, which showed clear routes of access for the public & restricted working areas, with the Operational Team & these were communicated clearly to the public.
In addition to these works the gym was extended whilst remaining operational. Again close communication with the gym team, to ensure equipment was relocated & still available for use by members, was essential & ensured the project was delivered smoothly. The dry changing facilities were also refreshed during these works providing exceptional facilities to the members.
The logistically complex project was delivered on time & budget & to a high quality.
