Working with the clients target cost and brief parameters we intially developed the concept design. This was developed through workshops with the operational team that concluded with an agreed design, cost and programme. This was then converted to a design and build solution that enabled the contractual and build risk to sit with ourselves as the contractor.

The programme was carefully planned and phased to minimise the operational impact, yet maximising the offering back to the customer.

The completed scheme included a new 2000ft² gym (created by installing a mezzanine floor over an existing sports hall), new studio, creche, changing rooms and café area.
