The VincentStokes team was initially appointed by the Client to value engineer the original scheme by 25% and this involved a major reshuffle of the existing project team, followed by a redesign of key aspects of the development.

Having effectively demonstrated that the business case could be achieved we were appointed as Construction Managers to deliver the project on a highly complex site in the heart of London over the top of the central line. The demise was in a sub basement area within a multi tenanted occupied office building and the logistical complexities required daily planning sessions and clear communications with surrounding occupiers and the City of London.

The project included a luxury stainless steel pool and spa, changing facilities, health and beauty rooms, 3 lifts, large gym, studios and café.

The works were completed in budget and the client benefitted from retained contingency on completion.
