VincentStokes were appointed as the principal contractor to strip out an existing retail shop unit and fit out a new Yo! Sushi restaurant in Cambridge City Centre. Work areas included three floor levels reduced into two by removing structural stairs to first floor and infilling the slab as required. Full external hoarding and the installation of a new shop front required licenses’ from the council in conjunction with considerate access, logistics and building in very sensitive public areas. Full fit out with all new special features on floors, walls and ceilings created a vibrant focal destination restaurant for Cambridge, which has since required additional works within the basement during trade time for more square footage to cope with the demand of an eager public.
