Client: Yo! Sushi
Location: London
Architect: Philip Watts Design

M&E Contractor: Client Directs
Over all development costs: £150,000
Duration: 4 days and 3 night's decorations while the unit was open to the public
Role: Main Contractor

The existing out dated retail unit is set within the high profile west end of London behind the London Eye and County hall in conjunction with being below an exclusive residential complex. These logistical, security and noise constraints together with a minimal closure for the client required the project to programmed by the hour.
All deliveries and noise were kept a minimum to ensure that a maximum four day closure could be achieved. The works included dismantling components rather than full demolition and the introduction of new sales areas to broaden the operation facilities offered to the public.
The new off site joinery with new bar counters throughout, hanging feature rafts with new lighting and audio equipment created a new retro feel throughout. Additional changes to the works on day 1 included the creation of new feature walls for the point of sale plasma screens. Additional decorations were also included within customers facing areas and new signage introduced all within the original target programme of 7 days (with only a four day closure).
